BIO G'NO 'Street Prophet / BeastofdaStreets' G'NO, Born Geno DeShaune Peters in Picayune, Ms, first burst on the scene in 1999 with one single as the Street Prophet, "Hustlin in my Bones", represented by BowDownProductions and produced by Thug Dirt for Heavy Rotations, Houston, TX. Shortly after the completion of his depute album, career movement halted due to an unfortunate drug charge, conviction and subsequent jail sentence. Back on the Street in January 2005, work quickly began to revamp G'NO's undeniable talent for telling his stories of life on the street, but this time emerging from the prison cell with the renewed spirit. The Spirit of a "Beast". G'NO's first official album due to be released in 2005 was postponed after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina to the gulf coast. Dropped in early 2006, "Called to teach", sold underground on the Mississippi Gulf coast with great response. G'NO was found mid-year showing up on mixed tapes and now, early 2007, BowDownProductions is proud to release G'NO "Mississippi On My Back", Album 2. G'NO is an expert lyrist, who has the innate ability to change the mind, penetrate the heart and pierce thru the soul of the listener, with engaging lyrics and a razor tight flow, making every Mississippian wish they was a "D" boy.
